Tier List Hub

Welcome to the Anime Capture tier list hub for StarX Inc’s August 2026 launch meta. This section ranks collectible anime units from Common through Mythical using a simple S / A / B / C framework so you can decide where to spend F2P Tickets, potions, and upgrade materials without guessing.

Anime Capture blends world-hopping combat with a capture loop: defeat enemies, earn Crystals, pull from capsules, and slot units that passively boost your punch damage. Tier placement here reflects early progression value, boss clear speed, and how well a unit still performs after your first world jumps—not raw rarity alone.

How we rank units

Every tier list on this wiki follows the same criteria:

FactorWeightWhat we look for
DPS contributionHighSingle-target burst, wave clear, scaling per upgrade
UtilityMediumSlows, shields, economy buffs, boss-specific tricks
Investment costMediumGems, duplicates, evolution mats vs. power gained
Rarity floorLowMythical is not auto-S; Common can be B if reliable

S-tier units define the launch meta: they carry story worlds, scale cleanly with Damage and Luck potions, and rarely get replaced before your first Mythical chase. A-tier picks are excellent second slots or budget carries. B-tier units are fine placeholders—upgrade only until something better drops. C-tier entries are collection fodder; sell or stash unless a future patch buffs them.

Methodology disclaimer

This is a fan-made wiki, not an official StarX Inc balance sheet. Rankings come from launch-week testing, community reports, and repeatable world clears—not datamined code. Patches, new worlds, and code compensation can reshuffle tiers overnight. When StarX ships a balance pass, we update child pages first, then refresh this hub summary.

Treat tiers as guidance for resource planning, not a mandate to delete every B-tier pull. Anime Capture rewards flexible teams; a B-tier economy unit can outlive an S-tier DPS if you are still farming Crystals in world two.

Tier list sub-pages

Dive deeper on the pages below. Each article cross-links back here so you can compare investment paths.

  • Best Starter Units — Day-one pulls and early upgrades before you chase Mythicals.
  • Mythical Units — Chase targets, pity habits, and when Luck potions are worth burning.

For roster mechanics behind these rankings, read the Rarity Guide and Team Building pages under Players. New accounts should also follow Getting Started and redeem active rewards on the Codes page before spending tickets.

Quick launch-meta snapshot

At release, most players progress through three priorities:

  1. Stabilize DPS with one upgraded Rare or Epic carry from the first world capsule.
  2. Add an economy or sustain slot so longer farming sessions stay profitable.
  3. Bank F2P Tickets from codes and dailies for a focused Mythical banner push.

We avoid stuffing this hub with a giant table that goes stale in a week. Instead, the child pages hold detailed S/A/B/C notes per role. Check Launch Patch Notes when StarX adjusts unit stats or drop rates.

When to re-roll your tier list mindset

Revisit these rankings after you:

  • Unlock a new world with higher Crystal payouts
  • Pull your first Mythical or duplicate for evolution
  • Receive a balance patch or compensation code batch
  • Shift from solo farming to co-op boss lobbies

If two units sit on the same tier, pick the one that matches your current bottleneck—boss DPS, wave clear, or ticket income—not the flashier animation.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Why S/A/B/C instead of a longer tier scale?

Four tiers keep launch-meta advice readable. S and A cover units worth upgrading; B and C flag placeholders so you do not waste potions on dead-end pulls.

Does higher rarity always mean a higher tier?

No. Mythical units start strong but some Legendary pulls outperform them before upgrades. Rarity sets a ceiling; tier reflects real performance after investment.

How often is this tier list updated?

After every major patch listed on the Updates hub, especially balance changes noted in launch-week hotfixes and code compensation waves.

Is this tier list official?

No. StarX Inc does not publish an official tier list. Treat this as community-tested guidance and verify against your own world progression.

Where should new players start?

Read Best Starter Units for day-one priorities, redeem Codes for F2P Tickets, then return here once you are ready to chase Mythicals.
