Anime Capture blends world-hopping combat with a capture loop: defeat enemies, earn Crystals, pull from capsules, and slot units that passively boost your punch damage. Tier placement here reflects early progression value, boss clear speed, and how well a unit still performs after your first world jumps—not raw rarity alone.

How we rank units

Every tier list on this wiki follows the same criteria:

S-tier units define the launch meta: they carry story worlds, scale cleanly with Damage and Luck potions, and rarely get replaced before your first Mythical chase. A-tier picks are excellent second slots or budget carries. B-tier units are fine placeholders—upgrade only until something better drops. C-tier entries are collection fodder; sell or stash unless a future patch buffs them.

Treat tiers as guidance for resource planning, not a mandate to delete every B-tier pull. Anime Capture rewards flexible teams; a B-tier economy unit can outlive an S-tier DPS if you are still farming Crystals in world two.
